Yes, your energy retailer will provide your connection to the national grid. Although your solar solution will be customised for you, to ensure you are receiving the maximum benefits, you will still require energy from the national grid at certain times, for example, at night, or when there is no sun to generate solar electricity.
Green IOT will take care of any maintenance required throughout the term of the PPA, as we want to ensure that your system is operating at its most efficient. We do our best to ensure that the system we install is the perfect system for your home based on your energy requirements and previous usage, as with the PPA, you are required to purchase the energy your system generates. Although we try our best, there may be times when your system generates an excess amount of energy. In this scenario you may be eligible for a feed in tariff from your electricity retailer, if the excess is exported back to the grid. Alternatively, we could sign the PPA under consultation only which means you only pay for what you use.
We understand that these things happen, so we try and make the process easy if you decide to move house. Having a solar system on your house is a great selling point. Alternatively, you can terminate the agreement and have the option to purchase the system outright according to the buyout schedule which is determined by what is remaining on your PPA term.
